Assignment 25: What's Next?

Existing Market:
For are next service we are want to offer everyday people the opportunity to be able to collect these plants and get rewards for them.
Sadly I did really gather any new information form my interviews, beside different product ideas. Which we already had thought of just don't have a working prototype. I did have one suggest a type of rewards membership especially if we are expecting a lot of people to shop there.
I think that the plant reward program is a nice one, but it maybe easier to consider something that is not so abstract for customers that just buy from us.

New Market:
I don't know how radically different this idea really is, but the best I could think of was people living in apartments.
These costumers may not need things like air filters, but they could still find value in our other product ideas.
In my interviews I tried to keep it vague to get ideas form them. They seemed to like the plant rewards ideas, but really wondered what the reward was going to be. They liked the idea of candles and pillows. Things that would be used to furnish the home rather than really maintain it.
I think that this market is just as much of a valid market as our existing one. And if we some of the other product ideas that we were thinking about up and running this would defiantly be a market we could invest time into.

  1. Hello,
I like the idea about rewarding your best clients, I believe that would be the best to reach bigger audiences. Maybe even do contests and try to personalize each of your products. I believe people living in apartments could actually be part of your target market, since small plants and cute decorations are always needed in someone's place, regarding of the size. Other than that, I think you wrote a good post.

  2. As a person that does live in an apartment plants are a great reward and in addition to candles and pillows that's great. Who does not like free things? Especially in an apartment where I (in my opinion) look for small cute things to buy.
