Assignment 30: Final Reflection

For me the thing that I will remember most about this class is about realizing that I could accomplish being an entrepreneur. I was able to meet a group of brilliant individuals and be able to come up with an idea that worked towards trying to help the world for the better. Then I was got to share it with all of you. I am proud of Leafy Lifestyles. I got to lean and more importantly use skills that are not just useful for entrepreneurship but for really anything you try and put your mind to. I think that I will walk away from this class with a better idea of how to be an entrepreneur. The kind of question to ask. The kind of angles to look at. All of it. I would by no means I am a prefect entrepreneur, but I defiantly have a better grasp of it. My best recommendation is to do the work. Some of it will seem tedious and boring, but all of it builds. Assignment 29: Venture Concept, Number 2 For Leafy Lifestyles

Opportunity: My company is being marketed at homeowner. The unmet need is that they have no real eco-friendly products when it comes to taking care of and furnishings their homes. So we are creating an opportunity for our customers to have this option by using invasive plant species to create these eco-friendly household products. Demographically I would say that my market is 28-32 years of age. Most of them would probably classify themself as someone who cares about the environment. Considering that we are selling home goods most of our demographic will most likely we owning a home. Geographically I would looks at middle class suburbs for our customers. Currently our customers are being satisfied my the products already on the market. From our research they are not eco-friendly like our products will be. They are loyal to these products because they are what the customers have and they are working. I would say that considering that no one is really doing what we are trying to acco...

Assignment 28: Your Exist Strategy

So I guess for my exist strategy I would chose to stay with it and then retire. I wouldn't want to sell the business because it could easily become something that damages the environment instead of helps it and I wouldn't save it for a family business because I don't know if I am having any children. It would be nice to be able to do something that I am passionate about for the rest of my life. Being able to retire from that would be nice as well. Considering the fact that now a days many people don't get to stay retired and have had to go back into the work force to support themselves. I think this strategy has effect my overall concept because it has kept the business some with only a few making decisions. Overall though I think it has influences my ideas because I have kept the business personal. Assignment 27: Reading Reflection, Number 3

The book I chose was titled: The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users. In general the book is about trying to teach tips to those of us trying to use social media as a platform for selling ourselves or our companies. The book relates to Ent3003 because it is about trying successfully sell yourself. With is a large section of running a business. If no one knows about you, you are not going to make money. In this day and age social media is the best way to have your business idea out in the work for people to see. So the fact that this book works to inform you of over one hundred tips to try and give you a grounding to try and successfully navigate the world of social media the way you need it. I would create an activity that had people create a social media page for your ideas. Either for themselves or for the business idea, for this class I would have it be the business idea that we have been working to create. Assignment 26: Celebrating Failure

So for my bit of failure that happened this semester was actually in a class. It begins with an enemy that many peoples also struggle with math. Now this semester I tried to take Calculous 1. I had taken a math class online Fall semester, so I thought that maybe I would be able to take this class online. That turned out not to be the case. I am actually failed this class. Which is the first time that this has happen. So, it has been a struggle to try and accept that I am failing a class. Though I have always had a trouble with the subject, but I have usually had better resources at my disposal.  So with this online schooling thing I have learned that somethings are just not the same. In some classes I need the extra resources that campus can offer me. Living were I do at the moment is not conducive to me needing help with classes that require tutoring like this class does. Assignment 25: What's Next?

Existing Market: For are next service we are want to offer everyday people the opportunity to be able to collect these plants and get rewards for them. Sadly I did really gather any new information form my interviews, beside different product ideas. Which we already had thought of just don't have a working prototype. I did have one suggest a type of rewards membership especially if we are expecting a lot of people to shop there. I think that the plant reward program is a nice one, but it maybe easier to consider something that is not so abstract for customers that just buy from us. New Market: I don't know how radically different this idea really is, but the best I could think of was people living in apartments. These costumers may not need things like air filters, but they could still find value in our other product ideas. In my interviews I tried to keep it vague to get ideas form them.
